Mark Salway

Mark Salway is the Managing Director, Nonprofit Advisory, Moore Kingston Smith (a leading UK audit and advisory practice and part of the global Moore network) and Lead Lecturer, Bayes Business School (University of London) on Financial Sustainability and Social Enterprise Mark heads up the NonProfit Advisory team at Moore Kingston Smith, which has extensive experience of enabling non-profit organisations to become sustainable through the implementation of robust business plans, fundraising and impact measurement. At Bayes Business School, City, University of London (formerly Cass Business School) Mark runs the Social Enterprise, Financial Sustainability and Advanced Audit and Accounting courses for the MSc. Mark is also an expert in ESG and social investment. Mark has a wide-ranging knowledge of managing finance and strategy at all levels having been a Trustee, Treasurer, leader and Finance Director across a career spanning 25 years. He has worked with many small as well as large organisations, including the UN, CARE International, Age UK and many small NPOs. He also has extensive experience in consulting to Government and commercial organisations. Mark is an expert in setting up social businesses. Mark developed and ran the social investment work for Cass Business School (now Bayes) over a five year period. He helped set up and establish lendwithcare.org and WSUP – both innovative organisations helping the poorest. He has also completed several assignments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mark is an expert in nonprofit strategy, cost recovery, ESG and finance strategy, along with having good hands-on practical experience in those areas.

Prabhat Labh

Chief Executive Officer, Grameen Foundation India

Prabhat is an international development leader with over twenty five years of experience. He has designed and led agriculture, financial inclusion and enterprise development initiatives across Asia, Africa and North America. As CEO of Grameen Foundation India (GFI), Prabhat led a major turnaround, taking it on a path of growth and sustainability through diversification in its programming, revenue sources, strategic partnerships, strengthening its brand and building a strong second line leadership. Prabhat also acts as the CEO of two subsidiaries of GFI that were established under his leadership- Grameen Foundation for Social Impact- an NGO and Grameen Impact Ventures- a social business. Earlier, at MasterCard Foundation, Canada, Prabhat managed a US$ 100 million portfolio of programs to facilitate access to saving services for low income communities across eighteen countries in Africa. Prabhat has established and managed partnership with Banks, NGOs, UN Agencies and Fintech companies to design and implement scalable solutions for rural low income populations. Prabhat is a post graduate from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal and did B. Sc. (Honours) in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has also undergone specialized training programs at the Harvard Business School, Southern New Hampshire University and International Training Center of the ILO. He serves on the boards of several leading social impact organizations and is frequently called upon to speak at global events.

Dwayne Ashley

Founder and CEO, Bridge Philanthropic Consulting, LLC, USA

With over 30 years in the philanthropic industry, Dwayne Ashley has utilized his knowledge of fundraising and passion for social justice to create opportunities for people of color through his founding of Bridge Philanthropic Consulting (BPC), the nation’s only full-service Black-owned fundraising firm. Throughout his career, Dwyane sought to align with organizations that shared his values regarding the betterment of Black-and-Brown people and, through that alignment, has raised over $1 billion to support those communities. Before launching BPC, Dwayne spearheaded development for notable organizations, like Jazz at Lincoln Center, 100 Black Men of America, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the United Negro College Fund, and the United Way of Texas Gulf Coast. In addition to professional accomplishments, Dwayne is a member of notable organizations like the African American Development Officers, the New York Society Library, and The Giving Institute—serving on the board of each—as well as serving as a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where he sat on board positions with Philadelphia and New York City chapters.

Michael Duggan

Michael applies digital technology to solving the greatest challenges in the humanitarian, development and conservations sectors at scale. As a nonprofit leader he is passionate about achieving the Sustainable Development Goals's (SDG’s) and addressing Climate change through our shared Net Zero commitments. Working through consortia and convening sectors to deliver impact is his preferred approach to address the scale and resource constraints the 3rd sector faces. As the lead with the Salesforce International CxO industry practice for NonProfit Michael advises global Nonprofits on how best to leverage digital technology for their mission. Working with UN and large Non-Governmental organisations Michael helps leadership teams successfully navigate digital transformation in order to increase measurable impact for their mission. Salesforce has the #1 industry solution set for non-profits with over 50k customers worldwide using Salesforce technology for impact. Before joining Salesforce Michael spent a decade in leadership roles in the Humanitarian sector. He was Global CIO with Oxfam, a large humanitarian organisation operating in 92 countries, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. There he helped drive the move to a new global operating model and built out global shared services. The experience he brings from his time in the sector executing change in complex governance models of Confederated and Federated organisations. Michael served as secretary of the board with NetHope.org, a consortium of the 56 largest global nonprofits working in collaboration with the technology sector to respond to humanitarian crises. He has also served on national non-profit boards. Michael lives in Wicklow, Ireland and has a BSc in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA with Smurfit School, UCD, Dublin.

Zoran Puljic

Zoran Puljic is the 2010 Schwab (World Economic Forum) Social Entrepreneur and the founding director of Mozaik Foundation - the leading social enterprise in Central and Eastern Europe and the leading Impact Investor in the Western Balkans. Zoran is an expert on Impact Ecosystems (physical and digital) & Fourth Industrial Revolution and serves on over 25 social business start-up Boards. He holds an MA certificate of London Metropolitan University and an eMBA degree of Cotrugli Business School Zagreb. In addition, he successfully completed the Harvard Business School Program (Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management) and the Harvard Kennedy Program (The Arts and Science of System Change). He was a Duke, BoardSource, and INSEAD Fellow in public policy, governance and social entrepreneurship. Zoran is fluent in English, German and Spanish.

Sasja Beslic

Senior Executive, Sustainable Finance Development, Sweden

Sasja Beslik is a Swedish and international financial expert known for promoting financial sustainability across the world. In 2004, he landed his first bank job as Head of Responsible Investments and later as deputy CEO at Banco Funds/ABN AMRO branch in Stockholm. His work for Nordea started in 2009, when he became head of responsible investments and corporate governance. He was named CEO of Nordea Investment Funds Sweden in 2011 and head of responsible investments and identity at Nordea Asset Management in 2013. Finally, at the beginning of 2017, Nordea placed Beslik at the head of a new unit, Sustainable Finance, tasked with implementing the decisions made by the company's corporate responsibility unit. He is the author of the books "Where the Money Tree Grows" (2021) and "Guld och gröna skogar" (2019) and the weekly newsletter "ESG on a Sunday". In 2019, he left Nordea to join Bank J. Safra Sarasin. In 2021 he joined biggest Danish commercial Pension Company PFA as Head of Sustainability. Beslik won the Swedish Banking Profile of the Year award in 2016. In 2013, he received the H. M. The King's Medal, 8th size with the ribbon of the Order of the Seraphim from King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden for outstanding contributions within Swedish environmental and sustainability theory. He was chosen as a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos in 2011. Stars Fund, the Nordea sustainable fund launched by Beslik in 2011, was chosen as Sweden's best overall equity fund in 2017. It was the first sustainable fund to receive the award. In 2020, Beslik was ranked the world's most influential person within green finance.

Karim Sayyad

Vice President & Net Zero Investment Lead, Credit Suisse, Switzerland

Karim Sayyad, CFA, is a sustainable finance expert and author. He is currently Vice President and Net Zero Investment Lead at Credit Suisse since February 2021. Karim is responsible for the net zero strategy for investment portfolios across wealth management and asset management. Karim is also involved in ESG integration across asset classes with a focus on private equity. Karim is a member of the Expert Advisory Group of the Science Based Targets initiative, a partnership between non-profits and non-governmental organizations. Before joining Credit Suisse, Karim spent over eight years with Nordea, the largest financial services group in the Nordics, in Stockholm and Luxembourg. In his latest role, he worked on the partnership between Nordea Asset Management and private equity firm Trill Impact, developing, and executing on, an ESG and impact investing framework for a mid-market control buyout fund. Earlier in his time at Nordea, Karim worked with ESG analysis and led engagements on business conduct with companies. This included frequent field visits, often in emerging markets such as Brazil, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to investigate claims of international norms violations and to verify remedial actions by companies to inform Nordea’s Responsible Investment Committee. In 2021, Karim co-authored and published the book “Where The Money Tree Grows” about financial markets as a toolbox for combating climate change. In 2020, he was awarded “Sustainability Talent of the Year: 33 under 33” by Swedish magazine Aktuell Hållbarhet. Karim has an M.Sc. in Finance from Lund University, has studied sustainable finance courses at Oxford University and is a CFA Charterholder.
